Composite Wood

What is a Composite Wood?

Composite wood, also known as engineered wood, is made of wood fibers encased in plastic. The combination of materials make it stronger and more durable than regular lumber. They are especially great for outdoor use because they are much less suceptible to weather. They don’t stain, wear down, crack, splinter, or become warped like many types of wood, especially over the course of many years. Composite wood can be used in cabinets, furniture, and flooring.
